(for oral presentation) Aim: To evaluate situation with artefitial abortions made on our Clinic in the period from 2013-2017 in the first and second trimester of pregnancy. Matherials and methods: Results from our medical documentation for arteficial abortion  in the period from 2013-2017 were analyzed. Results: In this period 1240 abortions in the first trimester of pregnancy and 924 abortions in the second trimester of pregnancy were made. There were 29 patients younger than 18 years in the first group and 29 patients younger than 18 years in the second group of patients. For the abortion in the first trimester classical method was used and for artefitial abortion in the second trimester induction with hiperosmolar solution of  natrium chloride and instrumental revision were used. We have no opportunity for use of medicamentose abortion because this medications are not registered in our country. There is a trend of decreasing the number of artefitial abortion on our clinic. This is maybe result of better information of out patients for contraception or doing abortion in several private hospitals. Conclusions: As the institution on tertiary level in our country we must introduce new methods for safe abortion (manual vacuum aspiration and medicamentose abortion). Changes must be made in our new legislative for abortion from June 2013. We must work more for prevention from unwanted pregnancies.
